MC Motorsports this morning on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at 11:41 AM gave the contract to new driver Levi Lipe to sign it, in which he did. Levi Lipe has joined MC Motorsports through 2023 to drive the #40 Chevrolet in NR Night in America races for the team.

Marty Cmejla, team owner, said how we are looking for more drivers to represent our sponsors, after MC Motorsports sponsorship had increased. He recalled Levi wanting to join MC Motorsports. He contacted him and he was still interested.

The #40 has a history with MC Motorsports. It is the first randomly assigned number the team has ever had when #39 was taken for Homestead-Miami Speedway’s raceway back in July. Marty Cmejla was given the #40 for the race, randomly assigned by iRacing.

“It just seems to fit with the Levi Lipe name brand - the number 40,” team owner Cmejla said. 

MC Motorsports grinds for good results. The team is known for making bad races turn into good results. MC Motorsport is looking for more drivers to represent this model to keep the team's average finish in a good position, which is what Levi Lipe will give to the team.
