Marty Cmejla Switches to #88 for NR Night in America

In surprising news, Marty Cmejla will now be driving his famed #88 number for NR Night in America competition. Cmejla will retire the #0 for the team, a number which he would record 20 starts. In these 20 starts he had 0 wins, 2 podiums, 5 Top 5s, 12 Top 10s, and not a single finish outside of the Top 20.

Marty Cmejla most memorably started his NR Night in America career with the #39, at first with the He Is Dead Jim font. Once he established Trading Paints Pro, Cmejla created a font out of the font style "My Puma". This led to the well known font style we drive here today. Cmejla wanted a change, so he went to the #0, recording some great consistent results. As mentioned before, in these 20 starts, not a single finish outside of the Top 20.

Marty Cmejla has always driven #88 in ASPHALT MEDIA, recording 30 wins to this day. Now there will be correlation between both series, which will be easier for scheme making and recognizability. This change will take in effect tonight.

Tonight, Cmejla hopes to do all 4 NR Night in America events debuting new sponsor TJ's Tint.

Cmejla in his 7th NR Night start (8/5/22)

Race 1 is Next Gen at Homestead Miami Speedway, a combo Cmejla hasn't done since 2022 in NR Night in America. In this race he finished 23rd.

Cmejla (#0) avoids trouble

Race 2 is Gen 6 at iRacing Superspeedway. With this chaotic combo, Cmejla has done 3 starts, finishing 7th, 13th, and 10th. In all of these he was within a shot of winning on the last lap.

Race 3 is the ARCA Gen 4 at Watkins Glen International. Cmejla has done this combo once and finished 10th back in July of 2023.

Cmejla wins ASPHALT MEDIA race (January '24)

Race 4 is the Dallara IR18 IndyCar at Auto Club Speedway. Cmejla has won at this combo in ASPHALT MEDIA and earlier this year in NR Night, finished 3rd. Cmejla's best car statistically in NR Night is the Dallara IR18 IndyCar.
