Max Swarringin joins MC Motorsports on 2-race deal

Max Swarringin messaged Marty Cmejla on the Idk Player Discord server saying to message him on some "business" proposals. Cmejla did so, and was met with NR Night in America legend, Max Swarringin, asking to join MC Motorsports.

Cmejla gave all the team specifications and Swaggy was down for it. He said he would do the COT races at Talladega Superspeedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway, for a 2-race contract deal. Swaggy will drive the #15 MC Motorsports / mcmiracing.com 2009 Chevrolet Impala COT.

CEO of the team, Marty Cmejla, said “I am extremely excited for this opportunity. To get a race winner like Swaggy on the team for these races is a big deal for our team, especially after the win we scored at Atlanta. Swarringin is obviously a proven multi-time race winner and is definitely one of NR's best and most popular. We hope Swaggy can perform well and maybe even deliver MC Motorsports our second team win.”

Swaggy will race 2 of the scheduled races Tuesday night. Marty Cmejla will race alongside him for Talladega and Charlotte, as well as doing Gen-6 Bristol and Las Vegas with the Legacy Trucks. The big story of the night is the new damage model on each of these cars. Patrick Connell will also race Talladega and Charlotte.

It will certainly be cool to see Swaggy under the MC Motorsports banners. Swaggy is the first driver hired to MC Motorsports since Daniel Mosteller ran a similar deal in November of 2023.

Cmejla is extremely excited for this opportunity for his team and is looking forward to Tuesday night, December 5th.

UPDATE (12/05): Due to the NR Night postponization, Swarringin will race Rounds 3 and 4 instead with the COT and Legacy Truck, and isn't 100% for Round 3.

UPDATE 2 (12/06): Due to another schedule change, Swaggy will only race Round 3. If he misses this, the 2-race deal will be remastered to Friday night.
