Former MC Motorsports driver Patrick Connell is now back part-time in ASPHALT MEDIA. Patrick Connell will only drive for MC Motorsports in the NASCAR Truck races, as well as the Mini Stock and Street Stock races. This comes after Connell doing 3 races so far in February of 2025. Connell will have full backing from Seymour Colostrum.

Connell will drive a new number, the #62, in truck races, and the #89 in Mini Stock and Street Stock races. Connell may also run some NR Night in America Mini Stock / Street Stock races with this deal.

Marty Cmejla asked Patrick Connell if he wanted to do a one-off race for the Slinger Figure 8 race which took place on February 14th. Patrick accepted and went on to finish 2nd. Then the deal became more widespread with him taking part in Race 3 that night, which was Mini Stocks at Lanier. He finished 24th. He came back on this recent Wednesday to do Mini Stocks at Thompson, finishing 21st. Connell was on on pace to finish in the Top 10 before getting taken out.

"Great to be back, glad to have a team behind me again. Hopefully that helps me both with motivation and support. And of course to also see if we can track down win #3 for myself with MC Motorsports," says Patrick Connell on the deal.

Connell has had a solid career with MC Motorsports with the Craftsman Trucks, with notable finished of 1st and 3rd. His full list of Truck finishes with MC Motorsports in ASPHALT MEDIA include:

7th, 6th, 19th, 20th, 14th, 1st, 19th, 25th, 8th, 3rd, 12th, 11th. AVERAGE: 12.0833 

Connell's Mini Stock career with MC Motorsports hasn't been too exceptional, but it is mainly because he gets screwed out of good results. He does have a 2nd place. His full list of Mini Stock finishes with MC Motorsports in ASPHALT MEDIA include:

21st, 21st, 17th, 2nd, 24th, 21st. AVERAGE: 17.677

Connell also has done some Street Stock races with MC Motorsports in the past. These finishes include:

10th, 41st, 25th, 7th, 8th. AVERAGE: 18.20

UPDATE:
Patrick Connell will now drive the #10 for the Trucks FULL TIME with Peters Boyz Texas BBQ returning. He will continue to still drive the #89 Seymour Colostrum for Mini Stock and Street Stock races.
