Patrick Connell has been through a couple of number changes throughout his tenures with MC Motorsports in ASPHALT MEDIA. He began with the team with the #46, scoring 1 win. Then he switched to the #67, also picking up a win back in May. Now to begin what we call the "school stretch", a new era for MC Motorsports, Patrick Connell will be going to #89, just 1 number off from Marty Cmejla's iconic #88.

"We wanted more congruency for the team. We want all our numbers to be in the 80s here at MC Motorsports," Cmejla said. Brad Cmejla drives the #83, Zayden Cortinas is in the #86, Marty Cmejla is in the #88, and Patrick Connell is now in the #89.

Connell will continue to be primarily sponsored by Weier Wealth Management and Peters' Boyz Texas BBQ. But joining him are some other companies, such as the return of Q90 FM Christian Truth Radio, Stand Up For The Truth Podcast, and Police Lights of Christmas.

"I am very excited for this change. It always seems like when I have a change of scenery with numbers the results begin to come in," Patrick Connell says.
